I shot this still life around Valentine’s Day. Unfortunately, there is so much stigma around self-pleasure, especially for women. It’s a form of self-care! I sought to eliminate that by highlighting some of my favorite toys (yes, they are mine, and I’m not afraid to say it.) When sex toys are shot, they are often shown as dark, sensual, and sexy. I wanted to show them a more cute and fun side, which also highlights my personality (because a lot of what I own is pink.)
